As we withdraw from Afghanistan, my thoughts turned to China doing extensive copper mining in the north. Here is a timely article that addressed my concerns:

Hopefully; you have gotten the new hip.
More importantly; hopefully they have diagnosed the cause of your fainting. The Drs figured it out on me only because my heart stopped while they were giving me an angiogram. A pacemaker is the obvious cure. Just make certain thatbthey monitor your telemetry carefully enough to detect a lead pulling out then going on the grand tour of your heart before reimplanting itself.
