People unhinged about Google’s announcement that it will now begin to treat platforms in its purview such as Android, Google Search, G-Mail and YouTube as a single entity by merging information about customers of these units as a single source for information about an individual signed up for these services should turn their gaze to Apple. They have been pretty much doing the same thing across their platforms from Facebook to iPhone to iPad. The point that seems to stick in the craw of so many users is that there is no opt-out for this. It is unclear if Apple allows an opt-out for centralizing information gathered from Facebook, iPhone, iPad and other platforms.
Let’s just take a moment to reflect that since Obama determined to run for office, he has been guided, funded and prodded by these media giants. He approached Facebook about how they organized information about users when he was busy setting up the database on voters that helped win the election for him. This database is still in operation for election 2012.
With their ability to control information gathering on my Android, they have me covered coming and going.
But for this writer, the most insidious thing Google does is so-called tailoring searches on their search engine based on my user information. It has long got in the way of through, meaningful search results causing me to use other browsers.
And now, speaking of control, a woman at the White House is stepping up to the microphone for an interview. She has the title “Director for Domestic Policy.” Is this a Czarina? Will she be the one to deal with the social and search media? Will she have ultimate control over information about us or will her roll be co-mingled with that of another Czar. Herein lies the difficulty: Only Obama knows for sure and he does not seem to want to cut staff anytime soon.
Obama has sought to legislate increased Presidential power over the internet via a request for a “kill switch” to take down the internet in times of uncertainty such as civil unrest, etc.
Now all of these social and search engine media giants will say that everything they do is to enhance your on-line experience. Google has said today:
“If you’re signed in, we may combine information you’ve provided from one service with information from other services,” Whitten said. “In short, we’ll treat you as a single user across all our products, which will mean a simpler, more intuitive Google experience.” [Aljazeera]
So now if you are a protestor anywhere in the world, that government can know ALL about your anti-government activities. And in possible cooperation with applications that provide information on individuals sought after by potential employers, you can be prevented from getting a job.
So Obama’s cozy relationship with the media is beginning to give him the tools he will need to maintain his grip on this country.

Facebook appears to be doing the same thing SamHenry and your report could not be more timely. As the Election draws closer you can bet Obama is going to pull out all the stops in silencing us bloggers from spreading the truth. He can no longer afford the luxury of us costing him votes.

Isn’t Facebook Apple? We will be allotted such low rank in the search engines that we will be of little consequence. Perhaps radio will be the better option for us. Already my stuff has fallen in the rankings. Thank you for coming and commenting.

I wish I could get over here more often SamHenry but my blogs and twitter keep me pretty busy. Poor excuse I know, but the fact is November will be upon us before we know it and I find myself in constant research and discovery. Each of us has our part in this war and you my dear friend are always on the cutting edge of breaking news. Gods Speed SamHenry we are going to win this war.

You are so nice to come back with a call to action. I have the same problem you do – limited time but unlimited friends and it is hard, very hard. But some time is better than no time. I will be over to see you soon. And I will still try to be cutting edge although I think my edge is rather dull at times.

This is absolutely outrageous. Case in point: a few months ago I did research on Islam and Muslim history for an article. Since then when I use Google all I get is Muslim oriented ads and search related material even though I’m not a Muslim. But Google thinks I am apparently LOL. That tells me they’ve already been collecting info and profiling us for a long while now. This announcement is just their finally getting around to telling us what they’ve already been doing. This is just one further example of the emerging global fascist police state!
So Google assumes via my “intuitive” experience that I’m a Muslim and that is wrong information they have. But they’ve based it on my searches and inquiries. So what happens if I research anarchy? They profile me as an anarchist? And when it comes time for the globalists to make people start disappearing how many will disappear based on wrong Google “intuitive” info? BTW just what in the hell do they mean “intuitive”? Has Google become a new psychic hotline or something? Maybe Oracle of Delphi? LOL
Barry O is expert at finding backdoors and when he can’t find one he just issues another imperial edict, I mean executive order, but either way he gets his way which is the globalist way. He loves to get others to do his dirty work for him and obviously Google is now one of those doing his dirty work. I’ve long heard that Google is connected with the CIA. At first I laughed at such notion. Now I’m not laughing at all as it may be true.
At some point this growing global tyranny will come to a head and when it does it will be a very bad day for all of us. Question is what will we do when we’ve had enough of this tyranny? Fight? Or cow down and just take it? From the looks of it so far most will cow down and just take it. That’s fine as the masses are unneeded. It has always been the few, not the many, that have achieved the greatest victories. As I learned in my Muslim research, “Many a small band has defeated a mighty army.” That is in Koran and is very true and that is how all this tyranny will go down. It will be brought down by the few, the small.
Google’s policy says this all is effective March 1 so as of that date I will no longer use any Google products including their YouTube which SUCKS anyway. People have power and people can use that power to force change. Imagine what would happen if people decide to boycott Google? It’s time to use our power against these global giants and their tyranny!!
Freedom, by the way

I read Google’s new policy and I have a question. I’m not sure I even have a google account. I don’t use their e-mail but I do use their search engine and visit sites like YouTube, but I don’t recall ever signing in. If you “use” their services at all–are you considered an account holder and does the tracking affect you?

I signed into YouTube to be able to post. The same is true of gmail. If you use the search engine, that info is saved. Good to see you Free.

This makes all of the “conspiracy theory” allegations that Google is a CIA operation seem more likely to me.

Google is something bad my dear Lorinov. I’ll fire up the Samovar and we can discuss it at length over tea as planned.

Pretty soon Apple, Google, and Microsoft will merge and become 1 giant media giant that controls everything, from the social media you use, to the device you use it on … it boggles the mind, really.
And as crazy as all that may sound, there’s a part of my brain that’s saying, “Yeah, it really could happen.”
Scary stuff!

It is scary because corporate America already dictates government policy. They don’t have to merge to do that.

Good Morning SamHenry. We are becoming more like Russia with each passing day and yet so many Americans remain oblivious to the perils befalling us. Nikita Khrushchev stated may years ago that they would defeat us with firing a shot. Well by golly look at us now!

How right you are my wolf and no one is alarmed. “Oh for that warning voice….” And the Chinese/Russian tie grows stronger.
