I’m sure we can secure some sort of government “subsidy” for more real pubs. If not then we’ll just play the discriminastion card (that always works). But, just in case that doesn’t work we’ll go ahead and make plans to sue! Besides by making more pubs across the nation we can frequent them and drowned our woes in good old ale that only the Brits can make. I have a feeling we are going to be needing a lot of that ale in the near future.
I hear there is a 70% chance of rain in Londontown tomorrow. Not good! How dare it rain on William and Kate’s parade!! I’ll speak with the Big Boss upstairs later today and make some demands. If you see lighning coming out of the sky aimed at me…not to worry LOL.

Gentlemen – so nice to see you gathered here this fine evening. This is SamHenry’s street party and I am happy you could attend.
Rob – Don’t toy with the weapons of the gods. Leave the lightening alone, please. Stash it in the umbrella stand would you?
Roo – I feel very bad about the rain when we are all excited for a really good time. I think people are having a good time in spite of themselves.
Morbie – Of course I will visit your post. I have had a helluva week at work but post wedding I will be over. Leave the light on. I will be up at 4:00 AM EDT.
What a wonderful thing to which to look forward. So few global days of happiness like this.

Good morning Jean, I knew that I could depend on you to be on top of this.
Truthfully, I have avoided all the reports and lah-dee-dah this week. However, since I arise every morning at 4 a.m., I clicked on Fox News and without realizing it found myself smack dab in the middle of the lah-dee-dah. So yes my friend, I watched the whole shibbang. I do not want to brag but I rather enjoyed it with my cup of coffee (too early for a brew) and croissant which now that I think of it is no where near being English.
Sorry I’m all out of earl grey and scones.

Ma deah, English is as English does. Now ya’ll know that we all came from southern parts originally – north Africa to be precise. I have the brown eyes to prove it! I just love your writing. You are so right. We don’t even try anymore and really, we shouldn’t have to. It should be part of our nature.
I think we have lost so much child-like faith from our childhood that really should not be jettisoned like old clothes.
We have grown too serious and jaded. And if you do lighten up and remember the magic inherent in life, there is a liberal somewhere in the crowd that makes you feel like you are having guilty pleasures.

I didn’t get up at 4 for Diana’s wedding either, lol. Besides, I don’t have TV service. I figured I’d have you and the news to keep me up to speed and really, I just like looking at the pretty pictures anyway.
