Often broadcast from the UK on PBS, the King’s College Choir at Cambridge has an annual Christmas service of hymns and readings from their fabled chapel.
Here, then, is a selection of some of their best “hits.”

Ah, Steve, I’m so happy to see you. The same back at you and your faithful companion. I have a yellow lab I am keeping for a breeder. She is a sweetheart. What would we do without our furry friends?

I am absolutely in heaven having enjoyed a wonderful aged beef rib roast with friends. I’m going to have a Christmas crash in the old bed with canines and a movie. I tip my toothpaste mug to ya, Morb. Ma teeth aren’t in it yet! The nephew of the love of my life who died 5 years ago stopped by to see me with his wife. I’ve always been a part of the family and Aunt Jean. It’s a long story but it will end happily in the next world if there is one. We had a lot of good times and years and I’m a one-man kinda woman and that’s so dumb but I am what I am. Huzzah to that. Love ya, Morb. I need to get over to your place to read what you wanted me to see. Tomorrow when my stomach is not in the way of the monitor!

…
And BTW … There’s nothing at all ‘ dumb ‘ with being a one – man woman ! …
…
I cherish that thought … My lady thinks the same way

Morb, I’m still into the sugar. Has to stop. Weight-wise and DNA-wise, I’m liable for diabetes so must change my ways. I know boxing day is the day after Christmas but when it falls on a Sunday, is it still Boxing Day? Up until the 50s 0r 60s when they allowed stores to open Sundays this would not even be a question!
My best friend in the Village is from Ontario – near Windsor and her Mum (down here for a visit) is now living back in her native Nova Scotia. My friend made her version of butter tarts yesterday. I am in heaven. We both bemoaned the fact that they are not popular here. You have to stop by Tim Horton’s. I have benefited so much from my life in Canada for a few years. I learned and experienced so much. I feel a little bit smug about it! I have both the Canadian “Meet the Beatles” Album and the one from the US. Did I tell you I went to one of their concerts in TO and it yelling and the strobe effect of all the flashbulbs caused me and my boyfriend to step out on a fire escape with a police officer They were just ants on the stage, LOL. Fun to have been in the environment of that time. Like all old souls, I love to reminisce at the holiday time….

Right you are, Morb. Your mom is probably my age because that name is not popular anymore. It’s been replaced by things like Jenna. OY.
