A PATTERN OF CONTROL OF THE ARTS AND EDUCATION RISES FROM THE OBAMA WHITE HOUSE

Posted on September 12, 2009

Rumor had it this week that a public relations person at the National Endowment for the Humanities had resigned over the following I posted here August 29th under “National Manipulation of the Arts.”  Here is the background of the alleged firing:

FoxNews.com has reported a story of a California film producer, PR man and etc., Patrick Courrielche and a teleconference in which he participated organized by the NEA, The White House Office of Public Engagement and United We Serve, a nationwide initiative launched by Obama to increase volunteerism.  Courrielche characterized the exercise as being a government telling artists (some 70 in attendance) to produce art in their respective disciplines in support of specific areas such as health care, the environment and energy.

Courrielche with a PR meister’s sensitivity to promotion, sensed something was amiss in this governmental push.  Was that a hint of propaganda in the air? Further, he was taken aback by the fact that the NEA, an independent federal agency supporting artists and arts organizations and bringing the arts to all Americans (fr0m NEA website) had been among the supporters of the event.

Then we found out that on September 9th, the President planned a live hookup with schools in the nation to speak to the students. They were to participate in the event as well.

One initial lesson asked students to write letters to themselves about “what they could do to help the president. After receiving complaints, White House officials changed that item to instead have students write about how they plan to achieve their short and long-term goals.

There is an eerie similarity between the request to the attendees at the meeting organized by the NEA and the lesson assignment to students suggested by the Department of Education to coincide with the President’s speech.  Both exercises were intended to garner support for administration policy on key issues.

As in the legislative activities of the administration, each effort (cap and trade, Health Care Reform) represents a piece in a larger puzzle. The organization of the White House agenda and its execution is chillingly precise and seems scheduled to “roll out” in certain pieces at certain times.

This is no longer a benign White House working for the people of the United States.  This is a gang of operatives seeking to control the people of the United States.
