I hope anyone who has both a sense of history and who has observed the Democrats and their party machinery for over 50 years has not been surprised that August is the month they like to get things in under the wire and play their games of disinformation.
This bit about the White House saying the President did not attach undue importance to the public portion of health care reform in HR3200 – a bit of bait they dangled at the bottom of a hook -was a page from an old book.
Obama had gone on the hustings, he had listened to constituents and had his agents at the White House put out the fiction that he had begun to pull back from the public part of HR3200.
Then the Repubs got cheered by the thought of a possible breach in the wall. Not so sleezed the baby Congressional snakes. They would not only fight to keep that public portion of the bill but would up the ante and make it single payer – something neither in the bill nor discussed at the town halls. That’s life in the snake pit when Barack the Charmer is on the road.
We fight on trying to remember the true nature of the opposition.

Yeah…the total slide of the Democrat party into the Socialist Workers Party really thru me for a LOOP during this election. My eyes have seen the Glory and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything most Anti-American aka “Democrats” stand for nor their CORRUPT and UN-AMERICAN POLICIES!!!

Sorry, got off on the Prez who ran as a centrist and so got off topic. What saddens me is that the young commentators on my iReports don’t have a sense of history and have no idea where we are headed.

SH, I don’t fault the people who voted for him thinking he was a centrist. We don’t expect lies of this caliber. There’s actually never been an American politician sold to us on lies alone- really it was ALL lies! And the media were… I believe we’ve seen the end of media. It’s nothing but hyper-partisan agenda now. ALL of it.
Think what you will about Bush. He was a genuine leader, mistakes and all. Obama is shrouded in deception. I think we must cling to the belief that good wins over evil, and his lying will be his undoing. Because he hasn’t accomplished anything yet… but failing at socialism is almost worse than socialism itself.
He could have been an amazing president if he wasn’t such a demagogue for his power-elite and radical leftists which he surrounded himself with and believes in.
